A Malmö florist atelier rooted in seasonal craft, sustainable sourcing, and the belief that flowers should feel personal — never generic.
Elin Forsberg
Elin opened Solros Ateljé on Södra Förstadsgatan in 2019 after a decade working with florists in Copenhagen and Stockholm. The name — Swedish for "sunflower atelier" — reflects her approach: bold, warm, and always turning toward the light of the season.
Raised in Skåne, Elin trained at Copenhagen Flower School and spent five years as lead florist at a sustainable wedding studio in Södermalm before returning to Malmö to build something of her own.
Today she leads a small team of two florists and one delivery coordinator. Every bouquet that leaves the atelier passes through Elin's hands or those of a florist she has trained personally.
When she is not at the studio, Elin tends a small cutting garden in Limhamn and teaches seasonal wreath workshops at community centres across Malmö.
What guides every stem we choose
Seasonal First
We compose exclusively from what is in season — never forcing out-of-season imports when local alternatives exist. This means better quality, lower transport emissions, and arrangements that feel alive.
Sustainable Sourcing
Our primary suppliers are Swedish growers in Skåne and Småland. When we import, we choose farms with verified environmental certifications and fair labour practices.
Low Waste
On-demand composition eliminates surplus stock. Wrapping is compostable, foam is never used, and leftover stems go to a local community garden or are dried for future arrangements.

Our studio and shop at 42 Södra Förstadsgatan is where the magic happens. Walk in to browse seasonal stems, pick up a pre-ordered bouquet, or chat with our team about an upcoming event.
The space is designed to feel calm and unhurried — a counter for orders, a workbench where you can watch arrangements being composed, and a small shelf of dried flowers and vases for sale.
We welcome visitors Tuesday through Saturday. If you are planning a wedding or large event, we recommend booking a consultation in advance so Elin can give you her full attention.
